Taystify is a platform for sharing authentic food experiences, discovering new places, and connecting with fellow food lovers. These guidelines help ensure our community remains inspiring, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

Our content philosophy
We celebrate real food stories, honest opinions, and creative expression. We don't allow fake content, spam, or anything that harms our community. When in doubt, ask yourself: Is this authentic? Is it respectful? Would I want to see this in my feed?

Taystify is all about food experiences. Share your culinary adventures, discoveries, and honest opinions.

We encourage:

  • Your own food photos and dining experiences
  • Honest reviews and recommendations
  • Restaurant discoveries and hidden gems
  • Home cooking and recipes you've tried
  • Food culture and culinary traditions
  • Tips, tricks, and food hacks
  • Questions and discussions about food

đŸŽ¯ Authenticity & Original Content

Authenticity is at the heart of Taystify. Post your own experiences, photos, and honest opinions.

Required:

  • Post your own photos or properly credit the source
  • Share genuine experiences and honest opinions
  • Use your real identity (no impersonation)
  • Disclose sponsored content or partnerships

Not allowed:

  • Fake accounts or impersonating others
  • Stolen photos without credit
  • Fake reviews or misleading information
  • Undisclosed paid promotions
Sharing others' content
If you share someone else's photo or content, always give proper credit. Tag the original creator or clearly state the source. Better yet, share your own original content!

🤝 Respectful Conduct

Treat others with respect, even when you disagree. Constructive criticism is welcome, but personal attacks are not.

Not allowed:

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
  • Hate speech or discrimination
  • Personal attacks or insults
  • Doxxing or sharing private information
  • Threats or calls for violence

Some content is never allowed on Taystify, regardless of context.

Strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal content or activity
  • Violence, gore, or graphic content
  • Sexual or pornographic content
  • Content exploiting or endangering minors
  • Promotion of self-harm or eating disorders
  • Terrorism or extremist content
  • Sale of illegal goods or services
  • Animal cruelty or abuse

Be responsible when sharing food-related content. Don't promote unsafe practices or make false health claims.

Not allowed:

  • Dangerous food challenges or unsafe practices
  • Misleading health or nutrition claims
  • Promoting unsafe food handling or storage
  • Encouraging consumption of unsafe or spoiled food

Best practices:

  • Be truthful about ingredients, especially allergens
  • Respect cultural food traditions and sensitivities
  • Share food safety tips when relevant
  • Avoid making medical or health claims without proper credentials

⚠ī¸ Spam, Scams & Manipulation

Keep Taystify authentic and trustworthy. Don't spam, scam, or manipulate the platform.

Not allowed:

  • Spam or repetitive content
  • Fake engagement (buying likes, followers, or reviews)
  • Misleading links or phishing attempts
  • Pyramid schemes or get-rich-quick scams
  • Manipulating algorithms or gaming the system
  • Mass following/unfollowing to gain followers
Authentic engagement only
Build your following organically by posting great content and engaging genuinely with the community. Shortcuts and manipulation tactics will result in account restrictions.

Šī¸ Intellectual Property

Respect others' intellectual property rights. Don't post content you don't have the right to share.

Guidelines:

  • Only post photos and content you own or have permission to use
  • Give proper credit when sharing others' content
  • Don't use copyrighted music, images, or videos without permission
  • Respect trademarks and brand identities
  • If you receive a copyright complaint, respond promptly

We enforce these guidelines fairly and consistently. Violations may result in content removal, warnings, or account restrictions.

Possible actions:

  • Content removal
  • Warning or educational notice
  • Temporary account restrictions
  • Permanent account suspension (for severe or repeated violations)
Context matters
We review each case individually and consider context. First-time minor violations typically result in warnings, while severe or repeated violations may lead to immediate suspension.

đŸ“ĸ Reporting & Appeals

Help us keep Taystify safe by reporting content that violates these guidelines. If your content is removed, you can appeal the decision.

How to report:

  • Use the report button on any post or profile
  • Select the appropriate violation category
  • Provide specific details if possible
  • We review all reports within 24-48 hours

Appeals process:

  • If your content is removed, you'll receive a notification
  • You can appeal the decision through the app
  • Provide context or clarification for your appeal
  • Appeals are reviewed by a different team member
